Bill Cotter – CEO

Bill joined Healthcare Australia in January 2007 after 8 years at MBF, where he was CFO for over 5 years and then CEO of the health insurance business unit for more than 2 years.
Prior to MBF, Bill was the CFO at Charles Schwab Europe, based in the UK. Bill has also held senior finance roles with Sun Microsystems (both Australia and the UK), Apple Computer (based in France), Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse.
Bill has a BA Degree in History and Economics and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.
Paul McMahon – CFO

Paul joined Healthcare Australia in September 2008, having gained extensive finance experience in senior roles with numerous organizations.
As CFO of FlexiGroup Limited, Paul played a key role in assessing various sale options for the group, culminating in a successful ASX float in December 2006. He had previously worked as CFO of Wizard Home Loans group, driving the rapid growth and eventual sale of that business to GE Money in late 2004.
Before Wizard, Paul worked with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young where he provided management consulting services to a variety of major organisations; and for Avco Financial Services where he was responsible for treasury, risk, strategy and planning.
Paul has an accounting degree from the Queensland Institute of Technology and is a member of CPA Australia.
Lara de Nikolits – Head of Business Development

Lara is the General Manager, Homecare Services and Head of Business Development for the Group. She is widely experienced in corporate management and advisory, including mergers and acquisitions, and has held a number of management roles in the Petrochemical, Hospitality and IT sectors.
Prior to joining Healthcare Australia, Lara was a partner in Orion Ventures, a boutique mergers and acquisitions practice, established to provide independent advice ranging from high strategy through to transaction execution and project management.
Holding a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Lara has a proven track record in management, market development, fund raising and business growth, and development in emerging sectors.
Margie Hepner – CEO Stanhope Healthcare Services

Margie Hepner has been the General manager of Stanhope since September 2006, after a brief period as the agency’s National Operations Manager.
Prior to Stanhope, Margie worked in the nursing and the private healthcare sectors. She has held a variety of Director of Nursing and Chief Executive Officer positions, including Divisional Director - Aged Care & Rehabilitation within the Public Health Sector.
Margie holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration, along with her Nursing degree and midwifery certificate.
Wil Wilhelm – Chief Operating Officer – Healthcare Workforce Solutions
Wil joined Healthcare Australia in 2009 after 5 years working in the recruitment industry with specialist executive search firm, Egon Zehnder International.
Prior to Egon Zehnder International, Wil worked for 10 years in senior general management roles with Sprint, a large US telecom business, based in the US and Hong Kong. Here, he led diverse teams and established new lines of business. Wil’s early career was in advising companies on strategy with Bain & Company and information systems with Andersen Consulting. Wil is also an involved non-executive director for a not-for-profit organisation called Giant Steps that provides education and therapy to children with autism.
Wil has a BSc from Sydney University and an MBA from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Illinois.
Richard Wirth – General Manager, SA/NT, Health Workforce Solutions

Richard Wirth has been with NASANSB since early 2003 and has been General Manager for our business there since 2007. He has also accountability for our Darwin agency, NT Medic.
Prior to his management roles with Healthcare Australia, Richard worked in critical care and nursing management. His skills as a hospital trained registered nurse, along with 20 years experience in both specialty and general nursing, have seen him undertake varied positions in Adelaide hospitals.
Richard's talent for healthcare and management is reflected in the excellent client relationships he has developed during his five years at NASANSB.
