Calling all Regional Immunisation Nurses
We have some opportunities for Immunisation Nurses to work with our rural and regional clients in small town centre’s requiring us to deliver Flu Vaccination Programs in 2018. If you are a Registered Nurse with a current Immunisation Certificate and keen to service regional areas, HCA Corporate Health would love to hear from you!
What’s the process?
Firstly, we will talk to you about what your preferences are. Next we will assess your resume, review your Immunisation Certificates and gain an idea of your availability during flu season in 2018.
Where are the opportunities?
Some of the locations are most likely to be regional NSW (e.g Orange, Wollongong, Blue Mountains, Bathurst, Wagga Wagga, Dubbo, Coffs Harbour, Tamworth), QLD (e.g Gladstone, Townsville, Mackay, Cairns), WA (e.g Kalgoorlie, Port Hedland) and SA (e.g Pt Augusta, Pt Pirie, Mt Gambier), VIC (e.g Ballarat, Bendigo).
An added bonus…
Travel incentives for servicing some locations may apply, but what would be even better is if you live in these locations or close by.In early 2018 we will have a greater indication of where our clients are likely to have us working with them. Some shifts may be ‘once-off’ and some may be for multiple days.
What are the mandatory certificates?
The required Immunisation Certificates are as follows:
NSW ‚ Australian College of Nursing ‚ Immunisation for Registered Nurses and Midwives
WA ‚ SA Health ‚ Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program **If this is more than 12 months old, you will need to have completed the WA Immunisation update
SA – SA Health ‚ Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program
NT – SA Health ‚ Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program
QLD ‚ Queensland Catholic University ‚ Queensland Immunisation Authorisation Course
VIC ‚ Any current immunisation course is acceptable
