Aged Care and Community Care Recruitment Team Leader

Healthcare Australia (HCA) is Australia’s largest specialist healthcare workforce provider. We are a large and diverse healthcare business with a strong presence in the staffing of nursing, community, medical, corporate, allied and Crisis Response Management sectors in all States of Australia. 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Aged Care & Community Care Team Leader to join our Brisbane team. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic initiatives to increase shift fulfilment, strengthen client partnerships, and lead a high-performing team across recruitment and operations.

You will take ownership of our Brisbane Aged Care and QLD Community Care portfolios, acting as the key contact for all client relationships. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will optimise workforce utilisation, support best practice processes, and ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide, coach, and develop the team across the full recruitment and rostering lifecycle
• Support the onboarding of high-quality healthcare staff and ensure efficient day-to-day shift filling
• Lead the team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
• Drive growth across existing and prospective clients, providing hands-on support where required
• Maintain high standards of conduct and work performance aligned with HCA values
• Deliver regular reporting, performance insights, and forward planning to optimise business outcomes
• Act as the key account manager for all Brisbane Aged Care and QLD Community Care clients
• Represent HCA at industry events, conferences, and client forums
• Identify growth opportunities and market trends to support business expansion
• Collaborate with the Marketing Team to execute recruitment marketing campaigns and attract top talent

Lets talk about You!

The ideal candidate will bring over 2 years of experience in either recruitment and or fast paced rostering with strong communication skills and a preference for engaging by phone. They will demonstrate excellent client management and influencing capabilities, along with experience leading recruitment and operations consultants—or be a senior consultant ready to step into leadership. While healthcare recruitment and rostering experience is highly regarded, we are also open to leaders from other sectors looking to transition into healthcare. An understanding of financial metrics and performance is important, as is the ability to coach, support, and lead a team to success.
