We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our thriving team across Adelaide!

The Role:

  • Casual
  • Start Date: 1st December
  • Hourly Rate: $35.42/hr
  • Part-Time & Full-Time opportunities available
  • Accredited podiatry training provided

Key Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of an AHPRA registered Podiatrist, you will:

· Assist with routine foot hygiene, such as cleaning and moisturizing

· Trim non-pathological nails with nail clippers and filing edges using a file

· File dry skin/callus using file or foot dresser.

· Provide basic advice on footwear

· Recognise when to refer to supervising podiatrist or facility staff

· Documenting observations and interventions

· Sterilisation of instruments

What you’ll need:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and willingness to complete Podiatry-specific accredited training (provided by Healthcare Australia Education).
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Driver’s License and Car
  • National NDIS Worker Screening Check (with online NDIS Worker Orientation Module “Quality, Safety and You” certificate)
  • Current season Influenza vaccination
  • COVID vaccinations and Booster
