About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Anaesthetic Nurse to join our perioperative team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will support anaesthetists and surgical teams in delivering safe, high-quality care to patients before, during, and after anaesthesia.
Key Responsibilities
Assist anaesthetists during induction, maintenance, and emergence of anaesthesia
Prepare and check anaesthetic equipment, medications, and monitoring devices
Provide patient care and reassurance pre- and post-procedure
Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to changes
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
Participate in emergency situations, including resuscitation when required
About You
Registered Nurse with current professional registration
Experience in Anaesthetics
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Commitment to high standards of safety and professional practice
