Associate Learning Designer – E-Learning – 6 month contract

Working alongside our parent company Healthcare Australia, HCA Education is a registered training organisation and has been delivering training and vocational services across all states for over 25 years. Over this time HCA Education has established itself as a proven provider of quality industry training, specialising in the Aged Care, Disability and Health Services sectors. 

The Education and Training Division of HCA actively supports the training and continuous professional development of internal HCA staff, as well as providing a fee for service model to our external clients.

The Role:

This 6 month contract role provides support to our Learning Designer, which combines innovative instructional design with help desk customer support. Working closely with subject matter experts and authors, the role is required  to take written course content and turn it into robust, engaging, and quality online learning modules. There will also be an element of Help-desk support with existing learners and onboarding of new customers as and when required.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Design learning programs to enhance capability through online learning solutions
  • Experience in digital design, including graphics, videos, animations, and other digital and print resources for E-Learning.
  • Work with subject matter experts and identify the target audience needs, managing competing priorities of projects
  • Learn and understand our LMS to assist clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to consultative approach with stakeholders

To be considered:

  • 5+ years of strong E-Learning development experience
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent work ethic, energy, passion, and commitment
  • A desire to get results / achieve goals
  • Ability to follow organisational task and project management procedures
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and SMEs
  • Experience with creating modern E-Learning content and blended learning activities
  • LMS and systems knowledge, preferred
  • Proficiency In Articulate 360 authoring tools (Articulate Storyline and Rise)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
