We currently have a unique opportunity for a talented Podiatrist to train and upskill cohorts of healthcare workers in a range of Podiatry assistant tasks.
The opportunity
Join our passionate education team to deliver training in the Podiatry space. Our trainers are provided with clear session plans and resources prior to undertaking training sessions. Assessment responsibilities include both practical observation and marking of theoretical tests as well as a range of other responsibilities such as:
Applying a variety of teaching methods (including workplace mentoring, where appropriate)
Preparing and maintaining teaching and learning resources
Marking assessments and providing feedback to students (timeframes and use of an LMS)
Undergoing classroom observation by the RTO Manager
Participating in Validation and/or Moderation Sessions
Identifying and reporting student learning difficulties
Supporting students with additional learning needs
Assisting with the review of teaching programs

As a qualified Podiatrist you are passionate about adult learning and the future talent in Podiatry!
You will either be qualified in teaching (degree or Cert IV in Training & Assessment) or be prepared to achieve this qualification ahead of commencing the training engagement.
