We are currently experiencing high demand for our NDIS Clients in the Newcastle Region and looking for committed and energetic Disability Support Worker to join our team. Our clients are currently in suburbs such as: Cardiff, Mayfield, Jesmond, Windale, Wallsend, Raymond Terrace, Rutherford, Belmont, Greta and surrounding areas
Your role
You will be supporting clients with Complex Mental Health, Physical and Intellectual Disabilities within their home and in the community in a 1:1 setting. This is a Casual position and your duties that may include:
Personal care, Domestic assistance, Community Access
Manage accurate and detailed shift reports including progress notes and incident reports
Up-skill with Free Training and development opportunities include Manual Handling, Peg Feeding, Bowel Care, Medication Admin and more!
Easy Mobile App for managing your shifts and submitting timesheets
Criteria:
6 months experience supporting individuals living with disabilities
Preferably a qualification in Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health
All 3 Covid-19 Vaccination Doses
Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
Working with children check & NDIS Worker Check
National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
Driver licence and own comprehensively insured car preferred
