Key responsibilities and duties
Deliver individualised, person-centred care that promotes physical and emotional well-being
Provide direct clinical care and oversee allied health services
Report on clinical incidents and care-related events
Develop and monitor care plans and resident assessments
Lead and supervise Enrolled Nurses and Care Partners
Administer medications in accordance with regulations and policies
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and staff
Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements, and policies
Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 1 year of aged care nursing experience
Aged Care certificate
Excellent with documentation and care planning
Understanding of quality management systems and commitment to continuous improvement
Ability to develop a cooperative team approach to the delivery of services
Gerontic Nursing Experience
