Head of Quality and Safeguarding

As the Quality, Compliance and Safeguarding Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the management teams for Supported Independent Living, Specialist Disability Accommodation and any other of our clients Services to manage risk, achieve accreditation meet quality and safeguarding objectives thereby ensuring organizational compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and reporting obligations are met.

Along with the relevant experience, you’ll bring with you a hands-on, flexible, can-do approach that contributes to maintaining a high-level customer focus.

  • Great work/life balance – office hours Monday-Friday
  • Base salary $120,000 – $130,000 depending on experience & qualifications
  • Qualifications in Allied Health, Nursing, Community Services and a minimum of 5 years’ Quality experience. Quality qualifications are also highly regarded

    To be successful in this role you will have

  • Demonstrated experience in the auditing, development, implementation and review of clinical and service delivery standards in a human services or health care setting, ideally Community Disability NDIS
  • Sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and quality standards within a human services and/or health context
  • An understanding of the Healthcare quality and compliance standards and the ability to pragmatically apply them in an operational setting
  • The ability to build positive relationships and work in partnerships with service delivery teams to achieve outcomes
  • A strong background in developing and delivering training and coaching in the clinical space combined with a track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives

    Skills and qualities required

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with a systematic, thorough and accurate approach to your work
  • Resilience and the ability to adapt quickly in a large fast paced environment
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship building skills

    Highly desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Clinical or Health Discipline
  • AHPRA registration or suitable registration
  • Quality qualifications
