Job description: We’re looking for a highly skilled and charismatic Senior Physiotherapist. You will work as the primary practitioner in HCA’s Wellness Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to consolidate your career as a leader and specialist in the gerontological field whilst maintaining a hybrid caseload of general population clients without long days or weekend work!
A Day in Your Role at a Wellness Centre:
Our HCA Wellness Centres are revolutionary purpose-built rehabilitation gyms adjacent to residential aged care facilities aimed at supporting the long-term health and wellbeing of the over 55s.
From greeting the early bird residents lining up outside the centre for their morning group strength and balance class to afternoons of 1 on 1 rehabilitation for the wider community and other clients to having small group pilates and exercise classes – your day at the wellness centre will be rewarding.
You will treat common geriatric conditions such neurological disorders, chronic disease, acute MSK injuries, joint replacements, cardiovascular disease, balance, and mobility issues.
More On the Role:
In this role, you will need to bring to the table equal measures of skill and passion with a particular interest in going the extra mile in the following ways:
· Impeccable focus on providing quality care and understanding the needs of the elderly.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build meaningful relationships with residents, families and more.
· Be able to work with a multidisciplinary onsite allied health team and local GPs.
· Caseload – Private clients, exercise classes, rehab, mobility reviews, general referrals.

What You’ll need:
· Recognized tertiary degree.
· AHPRA registration
· Full working rights
·National NDIS Worker Screening Check (with online NDIS Worker Orientation Module “Quality, Safety and You” certificate)
· Current season Influenza vaccination
· Current COVID vaccination
