Recruitment Lead – HCA Nursing Division – Hobart

The Opportunity and About the Role
Healthcare Australia is growing! We’re excited to expand our services into Hobart, opening a new branch to better support the healthcare needs of local communities.
To help us establish a strong presence in this vibrant region, we’re seeking an experienced recruiter with a passion for business development and relationship building.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a new location, leveraging your recruitment agency experience to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced and rewarding industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their healthcare staffing needs are met with exceptional service.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities by networking with local healthcare providers and showcasing the value HCA can deliver.
  • Talent Sourcing: Actively connect with the local community to attract skilled nursing professionals to join HCA.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HCA’s broader team to coordinate placements, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and candidates.
  • Branch Operations: Support day-to-day activities to establish and grow the branch, with a focus on building a reputation for excellence in the region.

About You
We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in an agency setting.
  • A natural flair for building relationships and connecting with people.
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify and act on opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • A hands-on, team-oriented approach—you’re just as comfortable working independently as you are collaborating with others.
