Registered Nurse – Acute Medical/Surgical | Tasmanian Department of Health
Healthcare Australia (HCA) is expanding services into Tasmania and is now talent pooling experienced Acute Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses for future agency opportunities with the Tasmanian Department of Health in Devonport.
These roles are not immediate starts, however demand is anticipated across a wide range of hospital-based acute care settings. This is an ideal opportunity to register your interest early and be considered as soon as shifts become available.
We are seeking Acute Registered Nurses who demonstrate:
Strong acute clinical skills in medical and/or surgical wards
Confidence adapting to new hospital environments
Sound clinical judgement and patient-centred care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Professional, reliable and flexible approach to agency nursing

Eligibility:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Minimum 12 months’ postgraduate experience in a general medical/surgical ward
Valid National Police Check
Valid TAS Registration To Work With Vulnerable People (RWVP)
Up-to-date vaccination and serology evidence
Full Australian working rights
