About the role:

Every individual in my client’s facilities has a unique story, and you’ll have the opportunity to connect with each one as you:

• Assist with daily living activities, ensuring residents feel heard, comfortable, and well-nourished.
• Collaborate with the team to support residents with complex needs.
• Help keep residents physically and mentally engaged with activities.
• Monitor residents’ health, assist with treatments, and administer medication under the guidance of a registered nurse.
• Build meaningful friendships with residents.
• Uphold every resident’s privacy and dignity with the utmost respect.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a true team player and effective communicator, with:

• A genuine passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives.
• A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (or currently studying towards one), or studying towards a Nursing qualification.
• Experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role.
• Strong computer skills.

Skills & experience:

• Bachelor of Nursing
• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse within aged care
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, professional standards, policies and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• National Police and NDIS clearances
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Up-to-date COVID and FLU vaccinations
