Registered Nurses – Regional SA

About the role

Located in the beautiful Flinders Ranges we have 2 regional hospitals seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join their team either full time or part time on a permanent basis.

Each of the hospitals have a mixture of aged care, acute and emergency beds.

The team are offering sponsorship opportunities for 482 and 186 Visa’s subject to eligibility criteria.

What you need

Key responsibilities include:

  • To be able to work autonomously.
  • Triage patients accordingly.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals in remote locations.
  • Conduct health assessments and screenings.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement healthcare plans.
  • Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Educate and support individuals in promoting their health and well-being.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Registered Nurse for 3 years with current AHPRA registration.
  • Current Advanced Life Support and Triage Training Qualifications highly regarded, or ability and willingness to obtain.
  • Experience in remote healthcare settings is highly desirable.
  • ED and Aged Care Experience desirable.
  • Essential – a team player who works hard when required but can have fun.
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
