RTO Lead Trainer – Disability Stream

The Lead trainer of a designated stream will be expected to provide advice and assistance to trainers and students in relation to marking, assessments, student academic support and study plans, best training practices, student centric learning and continuous improvement

Do you Have?

• A Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent qualification?
• Experience in leading/coaching teams
• Solid RTO experience and/or experience gained within TAFE?
• Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification?
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills?
  Demonstrated initiative and proactive work practices?
  Strong computer skills – particularly in using Zoom video communication.
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Police Check
• Covid Vaccination Digital Certificate

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Overseeing the quality and consistency of all training and assessment activities for the Disability and Leisure ad Health Sectors.
  

• Provide day-to-day leadership, empower and manage a community of passionate trainers.
• Supporting students to achieve their goals
• Mentoring trainers using well-developed leadership skills and knowledge of quality training and assessment
• Undertaking assessment moderation
• Facilitating & designing quarterly trainer meetings & professional development

What you will bring to the role:

• Mentoring, leadership and skills to support trainers, students and staff
• You will be a strong team player with a history of delivering results in a fast-paced environment with the demonstrated ability to adapt to fast pace changes
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills that will build relationships with Leaders, Stakeholders, and Team Members at all levels

  
Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification
• Hold a Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent qualification
