The Opportunity
HCA have been engaged to provide an exciting Virtual Mental Health Psychology program to residents living in Residential Aged Care Facilities.
As the program is growing, we are looking for our next Telehealth Psychologist to join our team on a casual basis! As a telehealth Psychologist with HCA, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial telehealth assessments of referred residents to evaluate resident’s needs, determine a care plan and provide recommendations going forward
- Conducting ongoing telehealth consultations (up to 60 minutes per consultation) with residents, using recovery-focused and person-centred care
- Work collaboratively with Residential Aged Care Facility Staff, GP’s, families and any relevant stakeholders where needed
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure the highest quality of care is being provided
- Documenting all care provided, identifying progress towards desired care outcomes and reviewing the care plan with the resident and care providers
- Communicate regularly with Lead Psychologist
- Liaise regularly with HCA Allied Health Operations Team to communicate scheduling of future telehealth consultations, or any correspondence required between Aged Care Facility staff members

To Be Considered:
- Fully qualified Psychologist with general AHPRA Registration
- Full working rights in Australia
- National NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centred focus
- Excellent time-management skills
- Previous experience working with older people or in telehealth is a bonus!
