Got questions?

We’ve got you covered.

Do you recruit all healthcare roles?

We primarily recruit Registered Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals and Doctors for roles across Australia. Some support-level positions (such as carers, support workers or AINs) are not typically available for international applicants. If you’re unsure whether your role is eligible, our team can review your experience and advise you.

Are UK qualifications recognised in Australia?

Yes. UK-trained nurses, midwives, doctors and many allied health professionals are generally eligible to apply for AHPRA registration, provided their qualification and experience meet AHPRA’s assessment criteria.

Do I need AHPRA before I apply with Healthcare Australia?

No. You can register your interest first and we’ll guide you through the AHPRA process.

How much experience do I need?

Most roles require 1–2 years of post-graduate experience, depending on your specialty.

Can my partner or family come with me?

Yes. Many visa pathways allow partners and dependants to be included.

Can I choose where I work in Australia?

Absolutely, from cities and coastal areas to regional and remote locations. We match you with roles that fit your preferences.

How much money do I need to come to Australia?

Costs vary depending on your visa, location and circumstances, but most applicants should budget for AHPRA fees, visa costs, flights and initial living expenses. We’ll help you understand expected costs and plan ahead before you arrive.
