Certificate IV in Mental Health – CHC43315

Ideal for those starting a career in mental health or community services.

  • Duration: 8 months
  • Placement: 80 hours
  • Next Intake: 19 August 2026

Diploma of Mental Health – CHC53315

Ideal for experienced workers looking to specialise or progress into more senior roles.

  • Duration: 14 months
  • Placement: 160 hours
  •  Next Intake: 22 September 2026

Certificate IV in Mental Health

Duration: 8 Months

  • Live Online classes delivered via Zoom, held twice a week from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm
  • Role Play sessions runs on Saturday’s between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Includes 80-hour mandatory practical placement

Diploma in Mental Health

Duration: 14 months

  • Live Online classes delivered via Zoom, held twice a week from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm
  • Role Play sessions runs between 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm
  • Includes 160-hour mandatory practical placement

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Suitable language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills
  • Access to a computer and internet
  • Government funding eligibility criteria apply for South Australian funded places. Our team can help determine your eligibility.

All students complete a pre-training review prior to enrolment to ensure the course is the right fit.
