National Agency Refer a Friend

 

National Refer a Friend Program

Refer A Friend is going NATIONAL! Do you know someone looking to take on a Nursing or Midwifery role? Refer a friend and you can both receive 500 CA$H4HOUR$ pts

The referred candidate must be a Registered or Enrolled Nurse, Midwife, or CSSD Technician (R&R only). Further to be eligible the referred candidate must be at least 2 years removed from last being active with HCA OR be a new employee of HCA, who hasn’t previously worked for Healthcare Australia and any of its associated brands.

Both the referrer and referee are eligible to participate in the ‘National Refer a Friend Program’ in accordance with the terms and conditions below:

  1. The referrer must be deemed an active employee who has worked a contract or shift within the last 6 months to be eligible
  2. The referred candidate can work in a different division from the referee any e.g. Referee can be working in WA (WANA) but refer a candidate who wants to work in metropolitan NSW (NASA)
  3. The referee mentions your name at the interview for our record-keeping purposes and validity of the referral or the referrer is introduced via our website. Later notification of the referral may result in the reward not being offered
  4. The reward is offered to both referee and referrer once the referred candidate works 10 shifts within 60 days of starting work with HCA, or has worked a 6 week contract (240+ hours) with our Rural and Remote team
  5. The onus is on the referrer and referee to notify HCA once they are eligible for CA$h4HOUR$ pts
  6. Referrals are recognised nationally
  7. All referral rewards are at the discretion of HCA
  8. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other offers (excluding Free Flight)
  9. HCA reserves the right to extend or end this promotion at any time.
  10. The ‘National Nursing Refer a Friend’ program runs from 1st August 2021 12:00am AEST until Friday 31st December 2021 11.59am AEST

 


 

 

Rural and Remote Incentives

HCA Rural & Remote Isolation/Quarantine Support Payment

  • Registered & Enrolled Nurses & Midwives who are accepted for and then successfully complete a minimum 8-week Rural & Remote placement, and are required to self-isolate on their return home (per the current government directives), will be entitled to a reimbursement of 50% of the OUTBOUND isolation costs.
    • The HCA R&R Isolation/Quarantine Support Payment is applicable for placements COMMENCED between 00:00 AEST 1st July 2021 to 23:59 AEST 31 December 2021. All mentions to the ‘dates of the incentive’ refer to these dates.
    • Terms and conditions of this promotion may be amended by Healthcare Australia at any time.
    • This incentive is available to all HCA Rural & Remote candidates travelling within Australia or from New Zealand ONLY and commencing their placement within the dates of the incentive.
    • To qualify for the HCA R&R Isolation/Quarantine Support Payment, the candidate must successfully complete a minimum placement of 8 weeks.
    • This incentive MAY be used in conjunction with other R&R incentive programs including Travel Free with HCA, R&R Cash4Hours, R&R Education Allowance and R&R Refer a Friend. All Ts & Cs for these incentives must be met to be eligible.
    • This incentive MAY NOT be used in conjunction with the International Free Flight promotion
    • The candidate must advise their consultant of their intent to claim the SINGLE HCA R&R Isolation/Quarantine Support Payment within 14 days of successful placement completion and lodge the claim to the Accounts Department as soon as the tax invoice receipt is available. Claims MUST be finalised no more than 3 months following the completion of the placement.
    • The candidate is entitled to claim a maximum of 50% of the standard Australian or New Zealand government-imposed isolation costs as directed by the applicable and current government website at the time of isolation (This includes accommodation & meals).
    • If the amount to be reimbursed is not in Australia Dollars (as per the Tax Invoice), the amount reimbursed will be based on the appropriate currency conversion at the time the reimbursement is due to be paid.
    • If a candidate can isolate in their own home, no HCA R&R Isolation/Quarantine Support Payment will be paid
    • If meals/food are not covered as part of the applicable government-imposed isolation requirements of a candidate’s “home” state, then no additional reimbursement will be applicable for meals/food
    • Travel “home” must be completed within 7 days of the end date of the placement, after such time it is the candidate’s full financial responsibility to cover all costs associated with isolation/quarantine. HCA will not be obligated to provide any financial isolation assistance after this time.
    • The HCA R&R Isolation/Quarantine Support Payment ONLY applies to OUTBOUND/HOMEBOUND isolation (with the destination being within Australia or New Zealand) and NOT INBOUND/PLACEMENT COMMENCEMENT isolation. If inbound isolation is required, this will be facilitated by HCA on a placement by placement basis as different states and clients need to meet different requirements. Out of pocket costs may apply.

 

Travel FREE with HCA Rural & Remote

  • Eligible HCA Rural & Remote candidates will receive free travel to and from their minimum 6-week placements in Australia.
    • The ‘Travel FREE with HCA’ incentive are effective from 00:00 AEST 1st August 2017 to 23:59 AEST 31st December 2021. All mentions to the ‘dates of the incentive’ refer to these dates.
    • Terms and conditions of this promotion may be amended by Healthcare Australia at any time.
    • This incentive is available to all HCA Rural & Remote candidates currently located in Australia or overseas and commencing their placement within the dates of the incentive.
    • The candidate must be eligible to work in Australia, hold AHPRA Registration with no restrictions and be registered with HCA to participate (if unsure about the process please contact our Rural and Remote Team. They will assist candidates in being work ready).
    • To qualify for this incentive the candidate must successfully complete a minimum placement of 6 weeks.
    • Travel refers to all en-route travel WITHIN AUSTRALIA – fuel (equivalent to Best Fare of the Day and identified in candidate agreement) OR flights (economy class only) OR public transport and applicable en–route taxis ONLY from the candidate’s closest airport to the placement location and return to the same airport. Excess baggage reimbursement is capped at $40 per placement. Taxis to/from home are not included.
    • Within Australia, travel is to be booked by the consultants. In the case of a candidate needing to book their own travel and transport, this will need to be approved by their consultant before booking.
    • All travel must be in the name of the candidate.
    • For all placements commencing after January 1, 2019 for INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES: A $300AUD each way international travel allowance is valid for those candidates living outside Australia that comply with our Free Travel promo T&C’s. This allowance may be claimed for flights ONLY from the candidate’s home airport to their entry port into Australia and return. En-route accommodation reimbursement applies only as specified in the candidate agreement. At this point the standard free travel Ts and Cs WITHIN AUSTRALIA will apply. Travel to Australia will be booked by the candidate and reimbursed upon completion of the first 6 weeks of placement or at successful completion of a minimum 6-week placement.
    • The candidate must submit their travel claims to HCA within 14 days of successful placement completion.
    • Once all documentation has been received and approved by HCA, the candidate will be reimbursed for their travel within 30 business days.
    • Healthcare Australia has no obligation to candidates who do not comply with these terms and condition
    • Travel entitlements apply to specified placement ONLY, as outlined in the candidate agreement. Travel must be completed within 7 days of the end date of the placement, after such time it is the candidate’s financial responsibility to arrange their travel home. HCA will not be obligated to provide any financial travel assistance after this time.
    • Candidates who do not meet the criteria of HCA travel policy will have their claim rejected.
    • Candidates who do not meet HCA’s strict compliance requirements will have their claim rejected.
    • Candidates who do not meet HCA’s compliance requirements will not have travel booked and may be required to pay back any travel outlaid by HCA or relevant Health Service.
    • Candidates who do not complete their placements successfully may have their claim rejected and may be required to pay back any travel outlaid by HCA or relevant Health service.
    • Candidates who utilise airline/travel/bank/rewards points for travel bookings related to placements will not be eligible for reimbursement (eg. Qantas Frequent Flyer, NZ Air Points, Flybuys points).

 

Free Trans-Tasman Travel with HCA Rural & Remote

Eligible HCA Rural & Remote candidates who reside in New Zealand will receive free travel to and from Australia for their minimum 8 week placements in Australia.

  • The ‘Travel FREE with HCA’ incentive are effective from 00:00 AEST 16th November 2020 to 23:59 AEST 31st December 2021. All mentions to the ‘dates of the incentive’ refer to these dates.
  • For the duration of this incentive, the International Candidate clause in the Travel Free with HCA incentive will not apply.
  • This incentive is available to all HCA Rural & Remote candidates currently located in Australia or New Zealand and commencing their placement within the dates of the incentive.
  • Candidates who successfully complete a minimum placement of 8 weeks will be eligible to claim reimbursement for flights only from their closest international airport in New Zealand, to their entry port into Australia and return. At this point the standard Free Travel Ts and Cs WITHIN AUSTRALIA will apply. NB. Flights within New Zealand are not considered at part of this incentive.
  • This incentive MAY NOT be used in conjunction with the International Free Flight promotion.
  • All other Terms & Conditions referenced within the Travel Free with HCA incentive will apply.

 

HCA Rural & Remote Education Allowance

  • Registered & Enrolled Nurses, Midwives and Carers who work a 6+ week Rural & Remote placement with HCA have access to a capped reimbursement on applicable training and education courses per calendar year.
    • RNs, ENs and RMs are eligible for a maximum $1000 reimbursement on applicable training and education courses following the successful completion of two (2) minimum 6 week Rural & Remote placements in 2021.
      • RNs, ENs and RMs are eligible for a $500 reimbursement on applicable training and education courses following the successful completion of:
        • Their first minimum 6 week Rural & Remote placement in 2021.
      • RNs, ENs and RMs are eligible for reimbursement of an additional $500 on applicable training and education courses following the successful completion of:
        • Their second minimum 6 week Rural & Remote placement in 2021 OR
        • A minimum 12-week single placement OR
        • Cumulative placements equaling 12+ weeks
      • Carers (PCA, AIN, CL3) are eligible for a maximum $200 reimbursement on applicable training and education courses following the successful completion of a minimum 6 week Rural & Remote placement in 2021.
      • Reimbursement is only payable upon presentation of tax invoice receipt and certificate showing successful course completion.
      • Candidates must be active and working with the HCA R&R Division to claim reimbursement.
      • Tax and super-legislative requirements apply.
      • All payments are at the discretion of HCA.
      • HCA reserves the right to extend or end this promotion at any time.

    Examples of eligible courses include those offered by HCA and external accredited providers:

    • HCA Mandatory competencies
    • Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program
    • MEC (Midwifery Emergency Course)
    • REC (Remote Emergency Course)
    • ALS (Advanced Life Support)
    • Pharmacotherapeutics
    • Carers Medication Administration training or
    • Any course which is deemed to be applicable by HCA to your role as an R&R candidate.

 

HCA Rural & Remote CA$H4HOUR$ Rewards Program

As part of the National CA$H4HOUR$ Rewards Program, Registered & Enrolled Nurses, CSSD Technicians and Anaesthetics Technicians who go on Rural & Remote placement with HCA, can earn points (pts) for every hour worked. Candidates can cash out every time they reach 500 pts. 1 point = $1.

  • The ‘HCA Rural & Remote CA$H4HOUR$ Rewards Program’ runs from 00:00 AEST 1st January 2020 to 23:59 AEST 31st December 2021. All mentions to the ‘dates of the incentive’ refer to these dates.
  • The following Rural & Remote staff are eligible:

Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, registered Midwives, Anaesthetic Technicians, CSSD Technicians.

  • Points will be rewarded when you work in any Rural & remote facilities (including hospitals, clinics and residential aged care facilities).
  • Candidates being paid by the agency only accrue points once their timesheets have been submitted.
  • For candidates being paid by the facility (ie. Cat 2), points will be accrued on provision of approved timesheets/payslips to the dedicated Cash4Hours R&R inbox (below) within 14 days of placement completion
  • Candidates may cash in their points at any time within the specified timeframe once a minimum of 500 points has been accrued.
    • Note however, that if you’re on a Cat 2 (facility payroll) placement you are only able to cash out your CA$H4HOUR$ points, at any time within the specified timeframe, following the completion of your placement.
  • Candidates must be active and be working to claim CA$H4HOUR$.
  • It is the candidate’s responsibility to claim their CA$H4HOUR$ bonus once they have reached a minimum 500 hours.
  • All submissions must be made in writing to [email protected]

  • All payments are at the discretion of HCA.
  • This promotion may be used in conjunction with other R&R incentives/ promotions unless otherwise specified.

Come to Australia to work as an Agency Registered Nurse for Healthcare Australia (HCA) and you can have your flight to Australia paid for (up to the value of $1,000 AUD, T&C’s apply) when you work 500 hours within a 6 month period.

 

Terms & Conditions:

  • The ‘Free flight to Australia’ incentive runs from 00:00 AEST 28th September 2015 to 23:59 AEST 30th June 2022. All mentions to the ‘dates of the incentive’ refer to these dates.
  • These Terms and Conditions are effective from the date specified above and may be amended by Healthcare Australia from time to time.
  • This incentive is only available to Registered Nurses who have not previously worked for HCA. You must be eligible to work in Australia as a Registered Nurse and register with HCA as an Agency Registered Nurse (if you are unsure about the process please contact your local HCA office who will assist you in being work ready before you leave for Australia).
  • To qualify for this incentive the claimant must work for HCA as an Agency Registered Nurse, anywhere across Australia for a minimum of 500 hours within a 6 month period, completing your first shift for HCA by 23:59 AEST 30th June 2022. The claimant must complete the 500 hours within 6 months of their first shift date with HCA.
  • The flight booked to Australia must also be within the dates of the incentive and in the name of the claimant.
  • To be eligible for flight reimbursement the claimant must work their first shift within 6 months of the fight arriving into Australia.
  • On completion of the 500 hours, the claimant must contact their local HCA office with the booking details and receipt of the flight they took to Australia.
  • Once all documentation has been received and approved by HCA, the claimant will be reimbursed for their flight to Australia up to a value of $1,000 AUD within 30 business days.
  • All documentation must be within the dates of the incentive and in the name of the claimant in order to participate in the incentive.
  • Claims can be submitted until 23:59 AEST 31st December 2022, however, all documentation for the claim must be within the dates of the incentive.
  • For a one way ticket, the claimant will be reimbursed up to the value of $1,000 AUD towards the flight cost.
  • For a return ticket, half of the total ticket cost will be reimbursed up to the value of $1,000 AUD towards the flight cost.
  • For any other types of ticket, the claimant will be reimbursed up to the value of $750 AUD towards the flight cost.
  • Healthcare Australia has no obligation to claimants who do not comply with these terms and conditions or to any claimant who does not adhere to the dates of the incentive.
  • Candidates who utilise airline/travel/bank/rewards points for travel bookings related to placements will not be eligible to claim (eg. Qantas Frequent Flyer, NZ Air Points, Flybuys points)

One claim per person. This incentive cannot be combined with any other incentive or offer run by HCA with the exception of the ‘Refer a friend’ CA$H4HOURS Loyalty Program.

CA$H4HOUR$ Rewards Program

Healthcare Australia’s CA$H4HOUR$ has gone national. With HCA’s exciting rewards program you can earn points and cash out when you reach 500 points. 1pt equals $1 so the more hours you work with us, the more quickly you’ll be able to cash out!

  • The incentive program runs from 1st January 2020 12:00 am until Friday 31st December 11.59am AEST 2021
  • Eligibility by staff with the following classifications: –
  • QLD – RNs, RMs, ENs
  • VIC – RNs, RMs & ENs
  • NSW – RNs, RMs, ENs, EENs
  • WA – RNs, RMs, ENs, EENs
  • SA – RNs, RMs & ENs
  • NT – RNs, ENs, RMs
  • R&R – RNs, ENs, RMs, CSSD
  • Points will be rewarded when you work in public hospitals, (Public Payrolled Facilities in NSW), private hospitals, rural & remote facilities and aged care facilities
  • You may only accrue points once your timesheets have been submitted.
  • For R&R: –
    • Candidates being paid by the facility (ie. Cat 2), points will be accrued on provision of approved timesheets/payslips to the dedicated Cash4Hours R&R inbox (below) within 14 days of placement completion
    • If you’re on a Cat 2 (facility payroll) placement you are only able to cash out your CA$H4HOUR$ points, at any time within the specified timeframe, following the completion of your placement.
  • You may cash in your bonus anytime within the specified timeframe once a minimum of 500 points has been accrued
  • Points accrued will expire when a candidate is deactivated.
  • Candidate must be active and be working to claim CA$H4HOUR$

Community Care Unsung Heroes Rewards Program

(NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA)

The Unsung Heroes Rewards Program has been created to provide a small token of our appreciation as well as to acknowledge our support workers who go above and beyond. As of July 1, 2019, the two Rewards campaigns are: the Monthly Appreciation and the Employee of the Month reward.

  • Up to 20 winners a month can win the Monthly appreciation Reward prize
  • 4 prizes will be given away, each month, nationally in the Employee of the Month reward
  • 1 winner per state (NSW, VIC, QLD and SA).
  • Max. of 1 prize per person per month – You cannot win two rewards within a month-month period
  • The program will run from 01/07/2019 until advised by HCA.
  • Prizes valued at $20, $150 or $250 depending on the reward
  • All prizes are at the discretion of HCA
  • This program cannot be used in conjunction with other offers
  • HCA reserves the right to extend, change or end this promotion without prior notice
  • All information collected becomes the IP of HCA and will be used in accordance to HCA’s policies and procedures
  • This program is exclusively for HCA Care and HCA Home support workers in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA.
  • Yes-vember Reward valid for Community Care shifts worked between Monday 28th October to Sunday 30th November
