Clinical Reporting Nurse | 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Fully Remote

Healthcare Australia (HCA) is a major provider of healthcare services across Australia, including primary care, allied health, recruitment, NDIS, care services, and training.

In December 2024, we began providing health, mental health, and wellbeing services across the onshore Immigration Detention Network (IDN). Our team of nurses, general practitioners, and allied health professionals offer a range of healthcare services, including health assessments, chronic disease management, health promotion, wound management, immunizations, and other primary health interventions. HCA also launched a 24/7 Virtual Care Centre (VCC), offering remote healthcare through telehealth and video consultations to enhance onsite care for detainees.

This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and relevant information, reports, and data to the Department of Home Affairs and other key stakeholders relating to individuals in detention facilities and community residences. The position supports transparency and compliance and effective oversight of client care and services.

The role also contributes to maintaining high standards of care by identifying and escalating issues or concerns to the appropriate teams, ensuring risks are addressed promptly and quality outcomes for clients are consistently achieved. This is fully remote role, requiring the successful candidate to have an appropriate home set-up including reliable internet connection. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Join us in bringing a new approach to medical and wellbeing care for detainees by:

  • Delivering accurate, timely, and up‑to‑date information, reports, and data, ensuring all outputs meet required standards.
  • Responding promptly to enquiries, working collaboratively to resolve matters, and fostering strong partnerships that support smooth and efficient operations.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of services by identifying and escalating issues or concerns to the appropriate teams to support high‑quality client outcomes.
  • Maintaining effective relationships through clear, consistent, and professional communication with the Department of Home Affairs and other stakeholders.
