About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Locum Pharmacist to join a hospital pharmacy department in Central Queensland, Mackay-Whitsunday Region. This role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality pharmacy services within an inpatient and acute care setting.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Review and verify medication orders for safety and accuracy
• Provide inpatient pharmacy services across hospital wards
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Complete medication reconciliation, counselling, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
• Current AHPRA registration (essential)
• Australian working rights
• National Police Check
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Hospital or strong community pharmacy experience (community considered)
