Our client is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join their Community Mental Health team in Shepparton. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based mental health assessment, case management and treatment planning, working closely with consumers, carers and community services to support recovery-focused outcomes.

The Role:
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments.
- Develop treatment plans and risk management strategies.
- Deliver case management for consumers experiencing acute or complex mental health presentations.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists.
- Provide education and support to consumers, families and carers.
- Liaise with community services and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
- Respond to changes in clinical presentation and adjust treatment accordingly.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Relevant qualification in Psychiatric Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy.
- Post graduate diploma in Mental Health.
- Current AHPRA registration or AASW eligibility (depending on discipline)
- Experience in community mental health, case management or acute mental health services
- Strong skills in mental state examination, risk assessment and treatment planning
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of the Mental Health Act (Vic) 2014
- Current driver’s licence
