With high demand for agency midwives across Sydney private hospitals, this is a fantastic opportunity for Registered Midwives looking for flexible shifts, excellent pay rates and consistent maternity work close to home.
Whether you specialise in Delivery Suite, Postnatal or Antenatal care, we have ongoing agency shifts available across multiple Sydney maternity units.
We are currently recruiting midwives with experience in:
- Delivery Suite / Birth Suite
- Postnatal Wards
- Antenatal Units

About You
You are a confident and compassionate Registered Midwife who thrives in busy maternity environments and can quickly integrate into new teams.
You will bring:
- Recent experience in maternity wards or delivery suites
- Strong clinical judgement and maternal/newborn assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary maternity teams
- Excellent communication, prioritisation and time-management skills
- A professional, reliable and flexible approach suited to agency midwifery
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration – Registered Midwife
- Minimum 12 months’ full-time post-graduate midwifery experience
- Experience in Delivery Suite, Postnatal or Antenatal
- National Police Check (valid within 3 years)
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Up-to-date vaccinations and serology
- Full Australian working rights (sponsorship not available)
