  • Antenatal Clinic
  • Childbirth Education
  • Maternity Assessment Centre
  • Birthing Suite & High Care Unit (HCU)
  • Postnatal Wards
  • Special Care Nursery
  • Lactation Services
  • Midwifery in the Home
  • Domiciliary Team
  • Midwifery Group Practice (MGP – continuity of care model)

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, woman-centred maternity care
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Promote evidence-based midwifery practice and professional excellence
  • Support patient education, cultural safety, and informed decision-making
  • Participate in quality improvement and continuous service development

About You To be successful, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
  • Minimum 12 months’ post-graduate midwifery experience in an Australian hospital setting (excluding placements)
  • Strong clinical capability and sound judgement
  • A commitment to woman-centred care, advocacy, and education
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A desire to continue professional development and growth

Salary & Benefits $81,733.60 – $103,152.40 + super (based on experience)
In accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Enterprise Agreement 2024–2028.
