Whether you’re an acute medical/surgical nurse, critical care nurse, emergency nurse or theatre nurse, we have regular shifts available across Canberra hospitals.
Acute Nursing Specialties in Demand We are currently recruiting Registered Nurses with recent experience in:
- Medical & Surgical Nursing
- Mental Health Nursing
- Emergency Department (ED / A&E)
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
- High Dependency Unit (HDU)

- Recovery / PACU
- Scrub / Scout (Perioperative Theatre)

About You
You are a confident and adaptable Registered Nurse who thrives in fast-paced hospital environments and can integrate smoothly into different wards and multidisciplinary teams.
You will bring:
- Recent experience in acute hospital nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and respond effectively in busy environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A professional, reliable and flexible approach suited to agency nursing
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA Registration – Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Minimum 1–2 years full-time post-graduate acute nursing experience
- Experience in one or more of the acute specialties listed above
- National Police Check (within 3 years)
- ACT Working With Vulnerable People Check (WWVP)
- Up-to-date immunisation records and serology
- Full Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available)
