About the Role We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse – Surgical (Perioperative) to join our dynamic team. You will work across preoperative, intra-operative, and post-operative settings, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective perioperative nursing care
Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures
Monitor patients pre- and post-surgery
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards
Support and educate patients and their families
Essential Criteria
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years’ experience in surgical/perioperative nursing
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement
Desirable
Experience in scrub/scout, anaesthetics, or recovery
ALS certification
Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing (or working towards)
