We’re looking for a Support Worker Team Leader - a confident, hands-on leader with experience in supporting and guiding teams. In this role, you’ll work closely with the State Manager and broader team to lead service delivery, supervise support workers, and ensure our clients receive exceptional care.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll blend team leadership, workforce management, service delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Day to Day!
Team Leadership & Workforce Support
- Lead, mentor, and coach support workers to build a capable, engaged workforce.
- Provide guidance through onboarding, check-ins, performance reviews, and appraisals.
- Support recruitment and workforce planning to meet client needs.
Service Delivery & Client Focus
- Ensure clients receive high-quality, personalised care.
- Step in to provide hands-on support when required, leading by example.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for better service outcomes.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure services meet Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission standards.
- Manage incidents and complaints in line with policy.
- Maintain accurate records and promote WHS and quality improvement practices.
Lets talk about you!
Experienced in home care, healthcare, or a related service environment, with team leadership or senior support experience; skilled at building strong relationships with staff and clients; confident, organised, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments; holding a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, a relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in healthcare or workforce management, and a current National Police Check suitable for working with vulnerable persons.
