Healthcare Australia (HCA) is currently seeking experienced Registered Midwives to join our growing agency team in Canberra, supporting public and private maternity services across the ACT.

Whether you specialise in Delivery Suite, Postnatal, Antenatal or Neonatal care, we have ongoing agency shifts available across multiple Canberra maternity units.
We are currently recruiting midwives with experience in:
- Delivery Suite / Birth Suite
- Postnatal Wards
- Antenatal Units
- Special Care Nursery (SCN)
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

About You
You are a confident and compassionate Registered Midwife who thrives in busy maternity environments and can quickly integrate into new teams.
You will bring:
- Recent experience in maternity wards or delivery suites
- Strong clinical judgement and maternal/newborn assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary maternity teams
- Excellent communication, prioritisation and time-management skills
- A professional, reliable and flexible approach suited to agency midwifery
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration – Registered Midwife
- Minimum 12 months’ full-time post-graduate midwifery experience
- Experience in Delivery Suite, Postnatal, Antenatal, SCN or NICU
- National Police Check (valid within 3 years)
- ACT Working With Vulnerable People Check (WWVP)
- Up-to-date vaccinations and serology
- Full Australian working rights (sponsorship not available)
