Rostering and Recruitment Consultant – Call Centre

At Healthcare Australia (HCA), we are united by a shared commitment: driving innovation and excellence in the healthcare sector. As Australia’s largest healthcare workforce provider, we are shaping the future of care through strategic transformation and a relentless focus on improvement.

This is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to be part of meaningful change that positively impacts patients, clients, and healthcare professionals every day.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Rostering and Recruitment Consultant to join our fast-paced Nursing team and play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless workforce coverage and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Senior Operations/Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of your desk, managing priorities independently while collaborating closely with consultants, clients, and nursing staff. Your focus will be on rostering, filling shifts with urgency and accuracy, supporting nurse recruitment, and ensuring continuity of care across multiple healthcare sites.

This is a high-volume, high-energy role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment with constant movement and shifting priorities. You’ll manage a significant number of inbound and outbound calls daily, respond to urgent requests, and ensure shifts are filled efficiently and compliantly

To deliver operational excellence, you will also:

  • Coordinate and manage high-volume shift requests across multiple healthcare sites
  • Fill urgent and last-minute nursing shifts with speed and accuracy
  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls daily
  • Monitor workforce availability and proactively address coverage gaps
  • Balance competing priorities in a constantly changing environment
  • Work autonomously while maintaining strong stakeholder communication
  • Ensure compliance and booking requirements are consistently met
  • Support onboarding and recruitment of new nursing staff

Let’s talk about you!

You are organised, resilient, and energised by a busy desk. You enjoy working independently, take ownership of your workload, and pride yourself on delivering results.

You bring experience in call centre environments, working as a team and building relationships with clients and workforce, and you thrive in environments where multitasking and prioritisation are essential.

You have confidence managing high daily call volumes, strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills, and a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure. Experience within healthcare or nursing agency recruitment will be highly regarded.

Bring your energy and be rewarded with:

  • Access to a comprehensive rewards and benefits platform
  • A day off on your birthday each year
  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities

If you’re looking for a dynamic, fast-paced recruitment and rostering role where you can make a real impact within a nursing workforce team, we’d love to hear from you.
