Homecare Support Worker Team Leader

At Healthcare Australia (HCA), we are united by a shared commitment: to provide exceptional care to those who need it most. We believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, especially in circumstances where they are most vulnerable. This is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to use your skills to create a profound and positive impact on the lives of individuals in our care. At HCA, this is where care begins.

As the Recruitment & Service Delivery Leader, you’ll play a vital role in building and supporting a high-quality Home Care workforce. Reporting to the Homecare Manager, this role blends recruitment, workforce engagement, coaching, and service delivery oversight to ensure our clients receive consistent, high-standard care.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and support workers to attract, onboard, develop, and retain talent, while ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with aged care standards. It’s a hands-on, people-focused role where your impact will be felt every day.

What you’ll be doing:

A key part of the role involves coaching and supporting your workforce, driving engagement, and identifying opportunities to improve both the customer and employee experience, along with:

  • Review applications, manage interviews, and align candidates with customer needs.
  • Process applicant files and maintain accurate system records.
  • Lead onboarding and provide ongoing support for support workers.
  • Coordinate workforce engagement strategies and maintain effective relationships.
  • Lead the service delivery function to ensure quality services for customers.
  • Monitor service quality in line with Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission standards.
  • Act on concerns impacting the quality and safety of supports and services.

About you

You’re a people-focused professional with experience in workforce coordination, service delivery, or a similar role within aged care, healthcare, or a customer-focused environment. You’re confident building relationships, juggling priorities, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Organised and proactive, you’re comfortable using systems such as CRM and MS Office, and you take pride in delivering high standards of service. Most importantly, you’re motivated by making a difference — supporting both clients and the people who care for them.

A current National Police Check (ACIC accredited), suitable for working in aged care or with vulnerable persons, is required.

With HCA you’ll be rewarded with:

  • A fabulous discount on BUPA Private health Insurance – 7%!
  • Hybrid Work: Enjoy flexible hybrid working conditions that empower work-life balance
  • Access to extra leave with a day off for your birthday plus a rewards and benefits platform
  • Salary Packaging – novated leasing available with Smart group
  • Be part of a well-respected Australian based organisation of more than 3,000 employees!
  • Benefit from ongoing training and support with access to an education allowance to nurture your skills and career

At HCA we are committed to embracing diversity and committed to providing a safe working environment.  Veterans are encouraged to apply.
