Scrub Scout/Clinical Nurse Specialist- Ophtalmology

About the Role In this role, you’ll be more than just a clinician—you’ll be a leader, mentor, and innovator. You’ll act as a key clinical resource across perioperative, anaesthetic, recovery, or day ward areas, ensuring exceptional patient care while contributing to continuous improvement and team development.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading clinical practice within your specialty area
  • Acting in-charge and supporting team coordination as required
  • Driving quality improvement, audits, and best practice initiatives
  • Reviewing and enhancing clinical documentation and procedures
  • Mentoring, educating, and supporting staff development
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies

What You Bring

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Relevant postgraduate certificate or equivalent experience in perioperative/anaesthetic/recovery/day surgery
  • Proven leadership capability and strong clinical expertise
  • A proactive, organised, and team-focused approach

What You’ll Gain
