Residential Aged Care Manager (Facility Manager)

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role overseeing a large residential aged care home, backed by a strong internal structure and experienced clinical team.
You’ll take full ownership of operations, performance and culture, with the autonomy to shape outcomes while being supported by a broader leadership framework.
This role combines operational leadership, clinical oversight and strategic direction, giving you real influence across quality, AN-ACC performance, workforce capability and resident experience.

The Role
You will be responsible for the full operational management of the home, ensuring high-quality care delivery, strong financial performance and a positive team culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a multidisciplinary team including clinical leadership, hospitality and support services
- Driving AN-ACC optimisation, funding outcomes and documentation accuracy
- Ensuring ongoing accreditation readiness and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Overseeing clinical governance through your Care Manager and clinical team
- Managing budgets, occupancy and financial performance of the home
- Building strong relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders
- Leading recruitment, workforce planning and staff development
- Embedding continuous improvement, audit processes and risk management frameworks
- Creating a high-performing, accountable and engaged team culture

About You
You are an experienced aged care leader who thrives in a large, complex environment and knows how to balance people, performance and compliance.
You will bring:
- Proven experience as a Facility Manager / Service Manager / Residential Manager
- Strong understanding of AN-ACC, accreditation and clinical governance
- Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams in aged care
- Commercial acumen across budgets, occupancy and operational performance
- Ability to drive culture, accountability and continuous improvement
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Clinical background (RN) is highly regarded but not essential.
