Rostering Officer – Home Care

As a Rostering Officer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and maintaining support worker rosters to ensure our clients receive timely, high-quality care that aligns with their individual needs, preferences, and goals.

Working closely with our Customer Care Managers, you will be responsible for matching clients with appropriately skilled support workers while ensuring continuity of care, service efficiency, and excellent customer experiences.

Day to Day! 

  • Develop and maintain client and support worker rosters
  • Coordinate services that align with client goals, preferences, and cultural requirements
  • Act as the central point of contact for rostering enquiries from clients and staff
  • Ensure shifts are allocated to suitably qualified and compliant support workers
  • Communicate roster changes and visit schedules in a timely manner
  • Optimise rosters to maximise service delivery and cost efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records across databases and rostering systems
  • Build positive relationships with clients, carers, support workers, and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Home Care service

To be successful in this role, you will bring experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination, or a similar administrative position. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have exceptional organisational and communication skills, and can confidently manage competing priorities. You are solutions-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable using a range of computer systems, including Microsoft Office and rostering databases. You enjoy working collaboratively while also taking initiative independently and are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred services that make a positive difference.
