Experienced ED Nurses with Resuscitation & Triage Skills Wanted

Are you an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse with strong Resuscitation and Triage competencies? This is your opportunity to join the opening team of a brand-new, purpose-built Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit within a leading private hospital.

We are seeking confident Emergency Nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate sound clinical judgement, and can effectively prioritise and manage patients presenting with a broad range of acute conditions.

The Opportunity As part of the foundation Emergency Department team, you will:

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based emergency nursing care across a diverse patient population
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and initiate timely interventions
  • Work confidently within the Resuscitation area, responding to critically unwell patients using advanced clinical assessment and emergency nursing skills
  • Undertake Triage in accordance with the Australasian Triage Scale (ATS), ensuring accurate prioritisation and timely patient flow
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive and patient-focused team culture

What We’re Looking For To be considered, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Recent Emergency Department nursing experience
  • Demonstrated competency and recent experience in both Resuscitation and Triage (essential)
  • Proven ability to rapidly assess, prioritise and manage deteriorating or critically ill patients
  • Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Emergency, Critical Care or Acute Care (highly regarded)
