Registered Nurse – Acute

Healthcare Australia (HCA) is seeking experienced Acute Registered Nurses (RNs) with Medical and Surgical nursing experience to support leading public and private hospitals across the Sunshine Coast.

About the Role

  • Work across acute Medical and Surgical wards
  • Support public and private hospitals throughout the Sunshine Coast
  • Deliver safe, high-quality patient-centred care
  • Perform patient assessments and clinical interventions
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records
  • Adapt confidently to different acute hospital environments

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Minimum 12 months recent Acute Medical and/or Surgical Nursing experience
  • Demonstrated experience in hospital acute care settings
  • Current National Police Check (within 3 years)
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • Flexibility to work day, afternoon, night and weekend shifts
  • Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
