About the Opportunity Our Client is seeking a strong Clinical Care Leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within a residential aged care setting. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead the clinical team and take ownership of care planning, medication management, infection control, risk management and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being visible on the floor while also driving systems, standards and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring the service meets Aged Care Quality Standards, Accreditation requirements and AN-ACC funding optimisation while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor Registered Nurses and clinical staff
Oversee clinical governance, compliance and quality systems
Manage care planning, assessments, case conferences and documentation
Drive AN-ACC submissions and optimise funding outcomes
Support infection control, risk management and audit readiness
Oversee clinical rosters and workforce planning
Contribute to strategic service development with the Service Manager
Maintain strong relationships with residents, families and allied health
About You You are an experienced aged care clinical leader who understands the balance between compassionate care and operational accountability. You will bring:
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration (RN)
Demonstrated leadership experience in residential aged care
Strong knowledge of AN-ACC, Aged Care Quality Standards & Accreditation
Experience in clinical governance, compliance and continuous improvement
Confidence in mentoring staff and building high-performing teams
Solid documentation and electronic care management system skills
