Registered Nurse & Enrolled Nurse

Healthcare Australia (HCA) is currently seeking experienced Acute Registered Nurses (RN) and Enrolled Nurses (EN) to join our growing agency team, supporting public and private hospitals in Cairns.

About You
You are a confident and adaptable Acute RN or EN who thrives in fast-paced hospital environments. You enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams and can quickly integrate into new wards.

You will demonstrate:

  • Recent experience in acute medical and/or surgical wards
  • Strong clinical assessment and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Clear communication and a collaborative approach
  • Professional presentation and reliability
  • Flexibility suited to agency nursing

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration (RN Division 1 or EN Division 2)
  • Minimum 12 months full-time post-graduate experience in a medical/surgical ward
  • Current National Police Check (within 3 years)
  • Up-to-date vaccinations and serology
  • Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
