Perioperative Services Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Perioperative Services Manager to lead a well-established perioperative service within a reputable private healthcare organisation.

This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and efficient perioperative services while driving team performance, operational outcomes, and patient care excellence.

  • Competitive Salary $120,000 – $140,000

About the Role

You will take ownership of the overall management of a busy perioperative suite, working closely with executive leadership to ensure best practice clinical care and optimal service delivery.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage clinical operations, workforce, and resources across the perioperative service
  • Drive efficiency, financial performance, and service delivery outcomes
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise theatre utilisation and workflow
  • Implement and lead change management initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards
  • Oversee staff education, development, and performance management
  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous service improvement
  • Provide expert clinical and operational advice to senior leadership

About You

You are a confident and capable perioperative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings:

  • Extensive experience in perioperative nursing and leadership
  • Proven experience managing theatre operations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong financial, workforce, and resource management capability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated success in driving change and service improvement
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centred care
