About the Role We are seeking an experienced Podiatrist for a locum role in regional Victoria, based in a town on the south bank of the Murray River in north-western Victoria. The role is delivered on behalf of the Murray/Western Primary Health Network, supporting accessible and preventative community healthcare.
This full-time locum position commences ASAP for up to 6 months, with potential for extension.
You will work within a Primary Care model delivering services across community health centres, hospitals, aged care, schools, and client homes. The role may require working as a sole clinician, so strong autonomous practice is essential.
The focus is on improving mobility and independence through prevention and management of foot conditions.

Location: North-West Victoria (Murray River region)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Up to 6 months (with extension)
Hours: Mon–Fri | 38–40 hrs/week
Rate: Up to $80/hr (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
Deliver podiatry services across community, hospital, aged care, and home settings.
Manage chronic disease, high-risk foot conditions, and wound care.
Work independently as a sole clinician when required.
Provide assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing management.
Support patient education to improve mobility and prevention.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
To Be Successful
Bachelor of Podiatry (or equivalent)
AHPRA registration
Australian working rights
National Police Clearance
Experience in chronic disease and high-risk foot management
Confidence working independently in rural settings
