About the Role As part of HCA’s Acute Care team, you will:
Work across Medical and Surgical hospital wards
Deliver safe, high-quality patient-centred care
Complete patient assessments and clinical observations
Administer treatments and medications within your scope of practice
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Adapt confidently to different acute hospital environments
Support public and private hospitals across the Sunshine Coast region
About You To be successful, you will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or Enrolled Nurse
Minimum 12 months recent Acute Medical and/or Surgical nursing experience
Recent experience working within an acute hospital setting
Current National Police Check (within 3 years)
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
Excellent communication and time management abilities
Flexibility to work day, afternoon, night and weekend shifts
Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
