Registered and Enrolled Nurse – Acute

About the Role As part of HCA’s Acute Care team, you will:

  • Work across Medical and Surgical hospital wards
  • Deliver safe, high-quality patient-centred care
  • Complete patient assessments and clinical observations
  • Administer treatments and medications within your scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Adapt confidently to different acute hospital environments
  • Support public and private hospitals across the Sunshine Coast region

About You To be successful, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or Enrolled Nurse
  • Minimum 12 months recent Acute Medical and/or Surgical nursing experience
  • Recent experience working within an acute hospital setting
  • Current National Police Check (within 3 years)
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • Flexibility to work day, afternoon, night and weekend shifts
  • Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
