About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to participants living in Supported Independent Living (SILS) homes and community settings.
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting participants with daily living activities
Personal care, manual handling and mobility assistance
Medication assistance and documentation
Community access and social support
Promoting independence, choice and inclusion
Completing sleepover and overnight support shifts
Maintaining accurate progress notes and reports
About You To be successful, you will have:
Previous Disability Support Worker experience
Experience working within SILS environments
Availability to work sleepover and overnight shifts
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A person-centred and participant-focused approach
Reliability, flexibility and professionalism
Essential Requirements
Minimum 6 months recent disability support experience
Experience supporting participants in SILS settings
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working With Children Check
Current National Police Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certification
Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport (preferred)
Up-to-date vaccinations and compliance documentation
