Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Minimum 12 months recent Acute Mental Health nursing experience
Experience working within inpatient and acute mental health settings
Strong clinical assessment, risk management and de-escalation skills
Excellent communication and therapeutic engagement skills
Current National Police Check
Full Australian working rights
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high-quality care to consumers within acute mental health services
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments
Develop and implement person-centred care plans
Monitor, document and report changes in consumer presentation
Support consumers experiencing acute mental health conditions and crises
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication management practices
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary mental health teams
