Registered Nurse – Primary Health (Day shifts)

Since December 2024, HCA has also been delivering health, mental health and wellbeing services across the onshore Immigration Detention network. Our multidisciplinary teams provide a broad range of healthcare services, supported by our 24/7 Virtual Care Centre.

As a Primary Health Registered Nurse, you’ll provide holistic, person-centred care and have the opportunity to use a broad range of clinical skills.

You’ll work closely with GPs, allied health professionals, nurses and external healthcare providers to assess health needs, coordinate care and support positive health outcomes. This role offers a diverse clinical workload and the opportunity to utilise a broad range of nursing skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact! 

 

  • Providing evidence-based nursing care and chronic disease management
  • Administering medications and immunisations
  • Performing wound care, blood collection and other clinical procedures
  • Supporting health promotion and patient education
  • Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams and external providers

Let’s talk about you!

Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a minimum of 5 years’ post-registration clinical experience.  Strong clinical assessment, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills are essential.
