We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join a well-established private hospital in Newcastle, with opportunities across General Surgical and Rehabilitation wards.

This is a great opportunity for nurses looking to join a supportive team, develop their clinical skills and work within a high-quality private hospital environment.

About the Role Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across either a general surgical or rehabilitation setting.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing safe and effective nursing care to patients throughout their admission
  • Completing comprehensive patient assessments and developing care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments in line with hospital policies
  • Working closely with surgeons, allied health professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Supporting patients through their recovery and rehabilitation journey
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Contributing to a positive patient experience and high standards of clinical care

About You We are looking for Registered Nurses who have:

  • 2/3 years’ experience
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Previous experience in general surgical and/or rehabilitation nursing
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • A patient-focused approach to care
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
  • Previous private hospital experience is desirable but not essential
