Commercial Analyst

At Healthcare Australia (HCA), we are united by a shared commitment: to provide exceptional care to those who need it most. We believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, especially in circumstances where they are most vulnerable. This is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to use your skills to create a profound and positive impact on the lives of individuals in our care. At HCA, this is where care begins.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Analyst to join our team. This role will support contract performance, compliance, and operational reporting, working closely with teams and leaders across Operations, Clinical, IT, HR, Governance, and Finance.

Ideal for someone early in their career, this opportunity suits a candidate who enjoys problem solving, working with stakeholders, and using data to support decision-making and business outcomes. You will gain exposure to commercial operations, contract management, compliance reporting, and cross-functional projects within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Working closely with our Commercial Director, Contracts Manager & Business Analyst you will:

  • Support the monitoring of contractual obligations, performance measures, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to track deliverables and support reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools using Excel and other reporting platforms.
  • Analyse operational and performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with governance, compliance, and assurance activities.
  • Support reporting submissions and documentation relating to customer and operational requirements.

Let’s talk about you!

This role suits someone looking to further develop their commercial and analytical capability. Building on a background in contract administration/management, commercial, legal, business analysis, or governance, you enjoy translating contractual and business requirements into practical reporting, operational processes, and actionable insights.

As this role operates within a government contract environment, exposure to government, state, or Commonwealth contracts would be highly regarded.

Naturally strong stakeholder engagement skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel will support your success in this role.

Bring your passion to HCA and be rewarded with:

  • Birthday Leave – because you deserve a paid day off to celebrate you
  • Enjoy a wide range of discounts and service award recognition program
  • Ongoing 24/7 immediate mental health and counselling support via our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Salary Packaging – novated leasing available with Smart Group
