The Opportunity
 
As the senior nursing and operational leader for the campus, you’ll provide strategic direction while overseeing day-to-day hospital operations. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you’ll champion patient safety, clinical governance, workforce development and service innovation.
This role offers the autonomy to lead, the support to succeed, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational and professional delivery of nursing services across the campus.
  • Drive clinical governance, quality, safety and risk management initiatives.
  • Develop and mentor nursing leaders while building a positive, high-performing culture.
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention and succession planning strategies.
  • Partner with executive leaders to deliver strategic organisational priorities.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement across clinical services.
  • Build strong relationships with clinicians, community stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ensure safe, patient-centred care through contemporary models of healthcare delivery.

About You
 
We’re looking for an inspiring and collaborative healthcare leader who brings:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Leadership, Management or a related discipline.
  • Significant senior leadership experience within an acute hospital environment.
  • A proven track record leading clinical governance, operational performance and service improvement.
  • Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills.
  • A passion for developing people, leading change and delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
