Registered Nurses – General Surgical & Rehabilitation

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join a well-established private hospital in Newcastle, with opportunities across General Surgical and Rehabilitation wards.
This is a great opportunity for nurses looking to join a supportive team, develop their clinical skills and work within a high-quality private hospital environment.
About the Role Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across either a general surgical or rehabilitation setting.
You will be responsible for:
Providing safe and effective nursing care to patients throughout their admission
Completing comprehensive patient assessments and developing care plans
Administering medications and treatments in line with hospital policies
Working closely with surgeons, allied health professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team
Supporting patients through their recovery and rehabilitation journey
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Contributing to a positive patient experience and high standards of clinical care
About You We are looking for Registered Nurses who have:
2/3 years’ experience
Current AHPRA registration
Previous experience in general surgical and/or rehabilitation nursing
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
A patient-focused approach to care
The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
Previous private hospital experience is desirable but not essential
