About the Role
As a Registered Midwife, you will provide safe, high-quality, woman-centred care across a variety of maternity settings while working collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Your experience may include:
Antenatal care
Birth Suite and labour ward
Postnatal care
Special Care Nursery
Women’s health and maternity services
Key responsibilities include:
Providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
Supporting women throughout labour and birth
Monitoring maternal and fetal wellbeing
Delivering newborn assessments and postnatal support
Providing breastfeeding education and guidance
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Adhering to hospital policies and best-practice standards
About You To be successful, you will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
Direct Entry Midwives and Dual Registered RN/RM applicants encouraged to apply
Minimum 2 years recent midwifery experience or a Postgraduate Qualification in Midwifery
Experience across a range of maternity care settings
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Current National Police Check
Full Australian working rights
