Incentive Program Policy
Healthcare Australia’s (HCA) incentive programs are designed to support business goals and provide competitive incentive opportunities for eligible employees. This policy may be reviewed and amended from time to time and does not form part of an employee’s contract of employment.
HCA reserves the right to change the participation rules, suspend or terminate the Incentive Program at any time.
Participation rules
• Casual and Permanent Part Time Employees are eligible
• Employees must be employed with HCA/HNG at each time incentive payment is calculated and paid
• Employees must be in good standing and not involved in a performance management process
• All shifts must have been submitted on their timesheet on the day of service or Mobility App updated
• The bonus is paid on actual hours worked, not bonus award hours. For example, for shifts where staff are paid the minimum even though they may have worked less; the actual hours worked will be counted (not the hours paid)
Criteria
• Deliver a minimum of 20 hours of services (HCP NDIS or CHSP) in a 7-day period (Mon – Sun) (in any or all weeks of the 8-week program)
• Services over 20 hours must be for Home Care Service hours
• Travel hours are not included
• Customer cancelled shifts are not included
Incentive Calculation
You will be paid an additional $5 per hour* for all hours of service delivered.
*$5 per hour paid up to the maximum of 38 hours
Payments
Incentive payments will be calculated and paid with your normal pay cycle, and tax is calculated as required.

How long will the $5 incentive be available?
The offer is a limited time offer and HCA reserves the right to extend, change or end this promotion without prior notice.
How do I make sure I work 20 hours or more?
• Keep your availability up to date
• Respond to all calls/emails from HCA Rostering in a timely manner
• Be open to working with new people or providing different supports
• Be willing to travel
How do I know HCA has enough work for me to work 20 hours?
HCA is focused on ensuring we meet the needs of our current customers and are undertaking service reviews to ensure that our current customers needs are being met. This will lead to an increase in hours for many customers.
HCA has an active Customer Acquisition campaign and has opened all our Customer Acquisition channels; we will be supporting more people with more hours progressively over the coming months.
Will I get more than 20 hours of work every week?
We will work with you to build your work schedule, so that it is ongoing regular work. This may take some time as we progressively bring more customers on board and match your availability and location.
When will I get paid the extra money?
Incentive payments will be calculated and paid with your normal pay cycle, and tax is calculated as required.
What is the maximum number of hours I can work per week?
38 hours per week
How much extra money will I get?
If you work over 20 hours:
You will be paid an additional $5 per hour* for all hours of service delivered.
*$5 per hour paid up to the maximum of 38 hours (HCA)
